The United States has imposed sanctions on several Israeli individuals and entities in response to violence against civilians in the West Bank.

The US Department of State announced that these measures target three Israeli individuals and five entities involved in activities that undermine stability and the prospects for peace and security in the region.

One of the primary targets is the organization Lehava, which has been designated by the US for its members’ repeated acts of violence against Palestinians.

Additionally, the sanctions include four outposts owned or controlled by individuals identified by the US.

These outposts have been used as bases for violent activities aimed at displacing Palestinians, including disrupting grazing lands, limiting access to wells, and launching attacks against civilians.

This move underscores the US government’s commitment to opposing actions that destabilize the region and hinder the path to peace, marking a significant step in addressing ongoing violence and promoting security and stability in the West Bank.
