Prime Minister Mohammed Shia’ Al-Sudani of Iraq confirmed on Saturday his nation’s drive towards open cooperation and economic partnership with all countries. The Prime Minister’s sentiments were captured in a press release received by the Iraq News Agency (INA).

In his meeting with the United Kingdom’s Ambassador to Iraq, Stephen Hitchens, the Prime Minister discussed broad relations between the two friendly nations. They explored ways to foster growth and development across multiple sectors, all in the interest of the Iraqi and British people.

Al-Sudani highlighted Iraq’s commitment to cultivating economic cooperation and partnerships, not just with its brethren and friendly nations, but with the global community at large. He also emphasized Iraq’s support for efforts promoting stability and development in the region.

On his part, the British Ambassador welcomed Iraq’s strides towards economic reform. Ambassador Hitchens commended Iraq’s efforts, noting their positive impact on a region facing numerous challenges.

By embracing international cooperation and fostering economic partnerships, Iraq is positioning itself as a proponent of global stability and development. This move can potentially strengthen its international relations and improve the country’s economy, creating opportunities for both its citizens and its global partners.

The British ambassador’s commendation of Iraq’s reform efforts showcases the international recognition Iraq is gaining. These developments are indicative of Iraq’s strategic positioning, economic growth, and drive to surmount regional challenges.

In summary, Iraq’s push towards global economic cooperation signals a new chapter in its international relations, potentially leading to a stronger, more resilient national economy and more stable regional dynamics. This sentiment is echoed by international partners like the UK, whose support underscores the global community’s interest in the region’s stability and development.
