On the evening of Wednesday, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi received a phone call from US President Joe Biden.
The official spokesperson for the Egyptian Presidency stated that the call included an affirmation from both presidents regarding the strength of the strategic partnership between Egypt and the United States, as well as their commitment to further developing it in all fields.
Regarding the regional situation, President Biden expressed his gratitude to President el-Sisi for Egypt’s role in the joint mediation that led to the humanitarian ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
