In a day marred by violence, 27 Palestinians have been killed and dozens injured due to Israeli bombardments targeting various areas across the Gaza Strip.
According to the Wafa News Agency, Israeli aircraft bombed homes in the town of Khuza’a east of Khan Yunis, in the southern part of the strip, as well as in the northern town of Jabalia and Al-Nuseirat refugee camp in the central area. The attacks resulted in 26 Palestinian fatalities, numerous injuries, and several individuals missing under the rubble. Additionally, a fisherman was killed offshore near the Mawasi area in Khan Yunis by Israeli naval forces.
Israeli warplanes also launched an airstrike on the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood southeast of Gaza City, and helicopters fired on Palestinian homes in Khan Yunis. Meanwhile, Israeli artillery shelled the northern areas of Al-Nuseirat refugee camp and the southwestern regions of the Rafah city in the south of the strip.
Earlier yesterday, the Israeli military committed a massacre by bombing tents housing displaced people in the Mawasi area of Khan Yunis, killing more than 40 people and injuring over 60, with dozens more reported missing.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced yesterday that since the onslaught beginning on October 7, the death toll from the continuous Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 41,020, with 94,925 injured. Many victims remain under rubble and sand or along roadways, unreachable by emergency and civil defense teams.
