Lebanese media reported on Monday that two people were killed and four others were injured in Israeli airstrikes targeting a car and a motorcycle in southern Lebanon.
According to the National News Agency, an Israeli drone struck a car between Mays al-Jabal and Shukra on the Al-Qalaa Road, resulting in two injuries.
Additionally, a motorcycle was hit on the Mays al-Jabal-Shukra road near the Dubeih Castle, leading to two fatalities and two more injuries, including one child and another person in critical condition.
Emergency teams are currently transporting the injured to a government hospital.
Israeli warplanes and drones also conducted raids on the town of Markaba after midnight, targeting a house without causing injuries, and on the town of Rabat Thalathin early in the morning, near the town’s Husseiniya.
Since October 8, when Israel declared war on Gaza, the border areas in southern Lebanon have experienced exchanges of fire between the Israeli military and Hezbollah militants.
The ongoing conflict has heightened tensions in the region, with frequent cross-border incidents exacerbating the volatile situation.
