Informed sources have reported that the Sudanese Army successfully downed three drones belonging to the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) that targeted locations in the western part of Al Jazirah State.

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) reported on Tuesday that over 10 million people have been displaced from their homes due to the war that erupted in Sudan in April 2023, according to Reuters.

The organization noted that more than 20% of Sudan’s population has been internally displaced or crossed borders since the conflict began.

The war in Sudan is being fought between the army, led by Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, and the Rapid Support Forces, commanded by Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo.

This conflict has resulted in tens of thousands of deaths, including up to 15,000 in Geneina, the capital of West Darfur state, according to UN experts.

However, the total death toll remains unclear, with some estimates suggesting it could reach “150,000,” according to U.S. Special Envoy for Sudan Tom Perriello.

Additionally, the war has forced approximately 2.5 million people to flee to neighboring countries.
