Libya’s Minister of Economy and Trade in the interim National Unity Government, Mohamed Al-Hawij, held a meeting to follow up on preparations for the Turkish Industries Exhibition in Tripoli and Benghazi at the end of 2023.

The exhibition will see participation from various business owners and major Turkish companies.

According to a statement published on the Ministry’s Facebook page, the exhibition aims to foster networking between Libyan and Turkish companies and showcase promising investment opportunities in Libya.

Al-Hawij stressed backing the private sector in the two countries and organizing bilateral meetings between business owners and investors to share expertise, experiences, and knowledge transfer.

The statement further announced that the minister approved six Turkish Industries Exhibitions for the year 2024. These events will be held in cities across Western, Eastern, and Southern regions.

The move is part of a broader effort to strengthen economic ties between Libya and Turkey and is expected to offer numerous business opportunities for companies and investors in both countries.
