In the early hours of Saturday, Israeli strikes killed and injured dozens in various areas of Gaza, marking the 288th day of Israel’s ongoing ground offensive in the region.
Israeli artillery targeted Tel al-Hawa, southwest of Gaza City. Red Crescent medics transported six bodies from an area near the Community College in Tel al-Hawa to Al-Mamdani Hospital.
In another incident, medics reported six deaths and ten injuries following an Israeli strike on an apartment belonging to the Ayad family in the Abu al-Amin area of Sheikh Radwan, north of Gaza City. These casualties were also taken to Al-Mamdani Hospital, with rescue teams still searching for missing persons, according to the Palestinian news agency WAFA.
Additionally, WAFA reported that rescue teams and medics recovered the bodies of four family members from the Shraihi household, along with several injured individuals, after an Israeli strike on their home in the New Camp in Nuseirat, central Gaza. These casualties were transported to Al-Awda Hospital in the camp.
