Hezbollah launched a barrage of sixty-five rockets from Lebanon into northern Israel on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).

The group claimed responsibility, stating that the rockets targeted Israeli military positions.

Israel’s aerial defenses intercepted some of the rockets, while others landed in open areas.

Several impacted near Kiryat Shmona, a northern border town, sparking fires across the Hula Valley.

Local authorities confirmed that at least one home was damaged, resulting in a fire.

Following the attack, Israel’s military launched retaliatory strikes targeting Hezbollah militants in southern Lebanon.
