Libya’s National Oil Corporation (NOC) announced on Friday that the country’s oil production has rebounded to pre-crisis levels, reaching 1.25 million barrels per day.

This restoration comes after Libya’s eastern-based government, the NOC in Tripoli, and other stakeholders agreed last week to reopen all oil fields and export terminals, following the resolution of a dispute over the leadership of the Central Bank of Libya.

Before the crisis, which led to the shutdown of major oil fields such as Sharara, El Feel, and Sidra in late August and early September, Libya’s output was around 1.2 million barrels daily.
