An Israeli airstrike on Monday in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza has resulted in the death and injury of at least 35 people, according to Palestinian news outlets.
Local sources reported that 15 people were killed early Monday when an Israeli airstrike hit a home in the Nuseirat camp, located in central Gaza.
According to local reports, Israeli warplanes targeted a house belonging to the Qassas family in the Nuseirat camp, killing 15 people, including children and women, and injuring more than 15 others.
Medical sources confirmed the death of six people, including two children and a woman, and several others were injured after an Israeli airstrike hit a house near the Al-Shamaa Mosque in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City. The wounded were transferred to Al-Mamdani Hospital.
Additionally, Israeli artillery bombarded the northern area of Nuseirat camp while the Israeli army demolished houses northeast of the Bureij camp in central Gaza.
Israeli forces have continued their aggression on Gaza by land, sea, and air since October 7, 2023. This ongoing conflict has claimed the lives of 41,206 people, the majority of whom are women and children, with 95,337 others injured. Thousands remain trapped under rubble or in the streets, with emergency and civil defense teams unable to reach them.
