The Saudi Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, and his Pakistani counterpart, Ishaq Dar, chaired a meeting of the Investment Facilitation Council aimed at enhancing economic cooperation between the two countries.

The meeting, held in Islamabad, was attended by high-level delegates from both nations.

The Saudi delegation included notable figures such as the Minister of Environment, Water, and Agriculture, Engineer Abdulrahman bin Abdulmohsen Al-Fadhli; the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar bin Ibrahim Alkhorayef; Advisor at the Royal Court, Mohammed bin Mazid Al-Tuwaijri; Assistant Minister of Investment, Engineer Ibrahim bin Youssef Al-Mubarak; and the Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan, Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki.

High-ranking officials from the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Energy, the Public Investment Fund, and the Saudi Fund for Development were also present.

At the beginning of the meeting, Prince Faisal highlighted the profound relationship between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, noting that this visit builds on the discussions that occurred during a meeting between Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud and the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, in Mecca. Both leaders are keen on enhancing investment opportunities across various sectors and supporting investors from the two brotherly countries.

The meeting also focused on exploring prominent economic cooperation opportunities in diverse fields and discussed ways to increase trade exchange to fulfill the aspirations of both nations’ leadership.
