The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced today (Monday) that the death toll from Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip has risen to 23,084, with 58,926 injured since October 7th of last year.

According to Reuters, the Ministry reported that 249 people were killed, and 510 were injured in the past 24 hours due to Israeli airstrikes on Gaza. The majority of the victims are women and children.

Israel has launched a relentless assault and heavy bombardment on the Gaza Strip in response to the “Operation Aqsa Flood” carried out by Hamas militants on October 7th in cities along the Gaza border.

The international community continues to call for an immediate ceasefire and peaceful resolution to the conflict, as the people of Gaza face unprecedented levels of suffering and loss.

The situation remains highly volatile, and efforts to bring about a cessation of hostilities are ongoing.
