In a recent development, Israeli forces have initiated heavy artillery bombings in Lebanese territories, targeting the vicinity of Al-Dahaira, Alma Al-Shaab, and Yarin, as reported by the Lebanese National Agency.

The hostile artillery bombardment, particularly around the town of Alma Al-Shaab, has resulted in a significant outbreak of fires amid the intense flight of warplanes in the region.

Lebanese caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati has emphasised the urgent need for diplomatic efforts from all involved parties to halt the escalating events in Gaza and to safeguard Lebanon.

The situation highlights the growing tensions in the region, prompting concerns about the impact of these hostilities on diplomatic relations and regional stability.

The Lebanon-Israel border has been witnessing sporadic acts of violence since Saturday’s attack by the militant Palestinian group Hamas on southern Israel.
