The ministers expressed their appreciation for Arab efforts to gradually resolve the Syrian crisis, aligning with United Nations Security Council Resolution 2254. This alignment was determined during the Ministerial Contact Group for Syria meeting in Amman on May 1, 2023, and reconfirmed on August 15, 2023, in Cairo.
