In a devastating turn of events, at least 40 Palestinians lost their lives on Saturday evening as Israeli forces carried out a bombing in the central Gaza Strip, as reported by Palestinian Radio.
The toll of the ongoing conflict escalated further today, with the Ministry of Health and Palestine TV revealing that over 170 people have been killed, and numerous others sustained injuries in the series of Israeli attacks that targeted various parts of the Gaza Strip, according to information relayed by the Arab World Press.
Nasser Hospital, situated in the southern Gaza Strip, reported receiving 62 casualties resulting from Israeli airstrikes on multiple residences in Khan Yunis. Similarly, Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in the central governorate received 71 fatalities and 160 injured Palestinians over the past 24 hours due to Israeli bombardments, as disclosed by the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
In a harrowing incident, Palestine TV later confirmed that 37 members of a single family lost their lives as a consequence of an Israeli airstrike on a house and a factory located on Salah al-Din Street in Jabalia, situated in the northern Gaza Strip.
The conflict has been ongoing since October 7 last year when Hamas and other Palestinian factions launched a surprise attack on Israeli towns and sites adjacent to the Gaza Strip. The situation remains dire, with civilians caught in the crossfire as hostilities persist in the region.
