Two Syrian citizens were killed and another injured in airstrikes conducted by the Israeli military in Quneitra province, located in the extreme southwest of Syria. The strikes targeted a civilian vehicle and agricultural lands in the region.

According to a correspondent from the Sputnik news agency in Quneitra, the attack on the civilian vehicle near the eastern entrance of Khan Arnabeh on the Damascus-Quneitra road resulted in the deaths of two individuals, one of whom was military personnel.

The vehicle was reportedly hit by a missile fired from an Israeli drone.

Additionally, the Israeli forces launched rocket strikes on agricultural areas in the village of Al-Rafid, which is adjacent to the UN demarcation line separating the Syrian and Israeli armies in the southern countryside of the province.

These strikes resulted in one civilian being wounded and subsequently transported to Mamdouh Abaza Hospital for treatment.

The skies over the occupied Golan Heights witnessed intensive flights by Israeli warplanes throughout the morning.

Israeli forces frequently target Syrians in the Golan Heights area, alleging connections with Hezbollah.

The so-called “International Coalition,” led by the US Army, has deployed the largest military reinforcements this year to its unauthorized bases in eastern Syria, in response to a spike in targeting operations over recent weeks.

According to a “Sputnik” correspondent in eastern Syria, a convoy consisting of 30 trucks loaded with the latest heavy military equipment, including tanks, artillery, short-range missiles, and armoured personnel carriers, entered Syria’s Al-Hasakah province on Wednesday, September 11.

The convoy crossed into Syria through the unofficial Al-Waleed border crossing with Iraq, heading directly to the American coalition bases in the northeastern part of Al-Hasakah, specifically the oil-rich area of Rmelan (Kharab Al-Jeer base) and Al-Qasrk base in the Tal Bidar area to the north of the province.

The reporter noted that the reinforcements were not limited to ground equipment.
