18 Killed in Israeli Airstrikes on Gaza

In a continued escalation of violence, 18 Palestinian citizens have been reported killed with several others injured due to Israeli airstrikes targeting various areas in the Gaza Strip early this morning.

According to Palestinian sources, five citizens were killed and others wounded when Israeli warplanes bombed a house in the Jabaliya refugee camp in northern Gaza. Additionally, three individuals lost their lives in Israeli shelling on the town of Al-Fakhari, east of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.

The violence further intensified with six more Palestinians killed and several injured following an Israeli airstrike on a house in the Batn Al-Samin area of Khan Younis.

Emergency response teams also retrieved a body from an Israeli airstrike in the Areeba area northwest of Rafah, while three more were killed and others injured in an Israeli air raid targeting a vehicle in the town of Al-Zawayda in central Gaza.
