A car explosion in the central city of Ramle, Israel, left at least twelve people injured on Thursday evening.
Magen David Adom reported that the injured were treated at the scene before being transported to medical centers, with four in critical condition, one seriously injured, and two others moderately wounded. Another five sustained minor injuries.
Israel Police have classified the explosion as a “criminal” act, ruling out terrorism.
Police bomb squads are investigating the vehicle for any further risks, while rescue efforts continue for people trapped in nearby stores that caught fire due to the blast.
