During the visit, Zelensky is expected to seek continued support for Ukraine in its ongoing conflict with Russia. Currently, Biden is pressing his fellow Democrats for more than $20 billion in additional aid for military, economic, and humanitarian purposes.
According to the Kiel Institute for the World Economy, the US has already provided over $70 billion in assistance to Ukraine.
