Syria has criticized the unapproved entry of a group from the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs into its territory, considering it a blatant disregard of key international rules and agreements.
An official from the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates voiced strong opposition to the unauthorized visit by the French delegation, stressing that this act is a stark infringement of foundational international regulations, a principle that the French diplomatic corps often underlines in its strategies.
The official added that the French delegation’s discussions with separatist groups and known terrorist entities pose a significant violation of Syrian sovereignty and territorial unity.
This action not only highlights France’s damaging and antagonistic stance against Syria but also indicates its full involvement in attacks against the nation by supporting terrorist factions and separatist forces.
The official underscored the fact that the fight against terrorism should be in alliance with the Syrian government, which has already been battling these forces, rather than in partnership with separatist groups which are mere fronts for the French government.
Both parties, it was noted, share a common objective of hostility towards Syria and its populace, infringing its sovereignty and territorial bounds.
The Syrian official called on the global community to rebuke the daring measures taken by France and to insist on upholding legality and international norms.
The official also pointed out the much-debated internal issues in France, particularly systemic racism within its institutions stemming from a colonial mindset and the problem of dwindling influence due to its blind adherence to US policies.
