Saudi Arabia has welcomed the adoption of the “Countering religious hatred constituting incitement to discrimination, hostility or violence” resolution project by the United Nations Human Rights Council.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia emphasized that the adoption of the resolution project, which came after persistent demands from the kingdom and several countries around the world, embodies the principles of respecting religions and cultures.
It also serves as an enhancement of the humanitarian values guaranteed by international law.
Saudi Arabia pointed out that it will continue its efforts in supporting dialogue, tolerance, and moderation while rejecting all destructive acts that seek to spread hatred and extremism.
