Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, met with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi in Riyadh on Wednesday, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

The discussions focused on strengthening bilateral relations across various fields and addressing key regional developments.

Footage aired by Saudi Arabia’s Al-Ekhbariya channel showed Prince Faisal greeting Araghchi and his delegation upon arrival in Riyadh.

Earlier on Wednesday, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei stated on X (formerly Twitter) that the visit aimed to address efforts to stop “the Israeli regime’s genocide and aggression” while seeking to “alleviate the pain and suffering” of people in Gaza and Lebanon.
