Saudi Arabia has condemned Israeli authorities’ attempts to undermine the efforts of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) by labeling it a terrorist organization.

This move aims to strip immunity from UNRWA staff who are performing their duties to alleviate the humanitarian disaster faced by the Palestinian people.

In a statement released by its Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Saturday, Saudi Arabia emphasized that Israel, as an occupying power, must adhere to international law and international humanitarian law and cease obstructing the work of international organizations.
