Portuguese soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo is on track to earn a substantial income from his new YouTube channel.
According to “The Scored,” Ronaldo has already surpassed 2 million euros in revenue from YouTube, just 20 days after launching his channel.
The football legend debuted his own channel on YouTube on August 21, adding to his presence on other social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and X (formerly Twitter).
Named “UR,” the channel will feature Ronaldo discussing his “greatest passion” — football, as highlighted in its promotional material. It will also cover his other interests, including family, health, nutrition, training, recovery, education, and business.
With the subscriber count nearing 60 million, Ronaldo’s YouTube venture is proving to be immensely popular.
Based on the millions of views his videos are garnering and the growing number of subscribers, it is projected that Ronaldo could reach €20 million in YouTube revenues as the new year approaches.
This means Ronaldo could match his annual earnings from his time with Real Madrid in half the time, solely through YouTube revenue.
Cristiano Ronaldo, currently playing for Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia, has continued to make significant strides in his football career. In 2024, Ronaldo achieved notable success, including scoring crucial goals in the Saudi Super Cup, where he helped Al Nassr compete vigorously against Al Hilal.
This performance is part of a broader pattern of success he has enjoyed since joining the Saudi league, where he has been breaking records and maintaining high-scoring stats.
