Even though the launch of the iPhone 17 might be two years away, industry predictions are abuzz with talks of a significant transformation in the design of the upcoming phone.

Experts suggest that the iPhone 17 could boast of an unprecedented slimness paired with a larger battery capacity. To put things in perspective, the iPhone 15 was only released at the end of the last month and was met with favorable reviews. Moreover, the release date for its successor, the iPhone 16, has already been pinpointed for September 2024.

Yet, it seems that the iPhone 17 may eclipse even that, garnering heightened attention. Analyst Min Gshi Kyo has unveiled that the 2025 model might incorporate Resin Coated Copper (RCC) parts internally.

As reported by the renowned product review site, Tom’s Guide, Kyo posits that these resin-coated copper components could potentially reduce the thickness of the phone’s mainboard. This won’t just save internal space but could also pave the way for Apple to introduce an even slimmer iPhone 17 Pro.

One direct advantage of the freed-up space could be allocated to increasing the battery capacity. All four models of the iPhone 15 house batteries that are slightly larger than their predecessors, suggesting a trend that’s likely to continue.

Thinner components also imply Apple’s newfound playground to innovate. Whether it’s through a more sophisticated cooling system, enhanced haptic engines for solid-state buttons, or larger quad-lenses to achieve superior zoom capabilities — possibilities are vast, as highlighted by the British newspaper, The Sun.

Apple has always been at the forefront of innovation, pushing boundaries to merge aesthetics with state-of-the-art technology. This anticipated leap in design and technology for the iPhone 17 aligns with Apple’s continuous endeavor to elevate user experience and set new industry benchmarks.
