Morocco and Oman signed a number of agreements and memorandums of cooperation in several fields to bolster the economic relations between the two countries.
The two parties sealed the deals at the sixth session of the joint committee between Morocco and Oman, which was held in Rabat, under the chairmanship of the foreign ministers of the two countries.
The meetings held on Tuesday were chaired by Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates of Morocco, and Badr bin Hamad bin Hammoud Al Busaidi, Omani Foreign Minister.
The two sides inked an agreement to foster maritime transport and ports, with the aim of supporting joint investments. This contributes to developing economic and commercial relations, as well as maritime activities.
In the same vein, they inked three memorandums of understanding (MOUs) related to diplomatic work, consumer protection, and transportation.
