The Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati of Lebanon firmly states that the country cannot serve as a source or a conduit for any actions harmful to Lebanon, its Arab brothers, or the world at large.
The Lebanese Council of Ministers’ official Twitter account reported Mikati’s assertion, emphasizing the government’s ongoing efforts to ensure that Beirut Airport reflects Lebanon’s positive image.
Earlier today, Mikati embarked on an inspection tour of Rafik Hariri International Airport, invited by Minister of Public Works and Transport Ali Hamiye. He was accompanied by Interior and Municipalities Minister Bassam Al-Mawlawi, Industry Minister George Bochikian, and Agriculture Minister Abbas Al-Hajj Hassan.
The tour included the airport’s cargo and passenger buildings, where the Prime Minister reviewed the operations of baggage check devices in the departure building and cargo inspection devices for export goods.
