As international efforts to secure a ceasefire in Lebanon continue, Israeli airstrikes have intensified across multiple towns and cities in southern Lebanon and beyond.
Reports on Saturday confirmed Israeli warplanes struck “Deir Bala” in Batroun District, in the north, as well as the area of Maaysira in Jbeil District (Mount Lebanon) for the third time.
The strikes resulted in the death of one person and left nine others injured.
Local media indicated that the bombing in Batroun also targeted houses sheltering refugees.
Additionally, an airstrike hit a residential building in Barja, located on the coast of the Chouf District, which housed displaced families and a Hezbollah office, according to Al Arabiya/Al Hadath sources.
Lebanon’s Ministry of Health confirmed an initial death toll of four, with 14 people injured. Another Israeli airstrike targeted a building on the Nahr Ibrahim-Qartaba road in Keserwan District.
The situation remains dire, with civilian casualties mounting as Israel continues its bombing campaign across Lebanon, striking both residential areas and Hezbollah-related sites.
