Israel’s military announced Thursday that it had conducted airstrikes against Hezbollah targets in various areas of southern Lebanon.
According to Lebanon’s National News Agency, one of the airstrikes in the town of Doueir resulted in the destruction of a house, though no casualties were reported.
In addition to the operations in Lebanon, the Israeli military stated that it had carried out raids in the Rafah area of the southern Gaza Strip, continuing its months-long battle against Hamas militants. Israeli fighter jets also targeted and destroyed a militant firing site in northern Gaza.
Meanwhile, the aid organization World Central Kitchen reported the death of a Palestinian team member from its warehouse staff, Nadi Sallout, in central Gaza. The group is seeking more details about his death, noting that Sallout was believed to be off duty at the time.
The Israeli military responded, stating that it was “unaware of any incident in which an employee of the organisation was harmed during his work in recent days.” In April, Israeli airstrikes had hit three World Central Kitchen vehicles, resulting in the deaths of seven people.
