In a significant diplomatic move, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has reached out to leaders of 50 countries, including major nations like Russia, China, Turkey, Kazakhstan, South Africa, Kenya, and Jordan, urging a unified stance and concerted action against Israel to halt its actions in Gaza.

Raisi’s message, a clear call for solidarity among free and independent nations, emphasizes the need for combined diplomatic and economic pressure on Israel. He highlights the desperate situation in Gaza, pointing to the over 14,000 casualties and extensive infrastructure damage incurred during the recent 40-day conflict.

The Iranian leader criticized what he perceives as the duplicity of some Western governments, accusing them of deliberately ignoring humanitarian, ethical, and legal principles in the context of the Gaza crisis.

Raisi described the current situation as a critical test of divine and human values for all governments. He stressed the importance of using all available tools to exert pressure. This includes halting cooperation and political and commercial relations with Israel and playing a more significant role in stopping the alleged crimes and lifting the blockade of Gaza.

This call from President Raisi marks a notable moment in international relations, reflecting Iran’s continued stance on the Israel-Palestine issue. It underscores the complexities of Middle Eastern geopolitics and highlights the role of diplomacy in addressing such conflicts. The response of the addressed nations and the impact of this call to action remain to be seen, potentially influencing the regional dynamics and international discourse around the Israel-Gaza conflict.
