The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Wednesday that the death toll from the Israeli war on the enclave has risen to 29,313, with 69,333 individuals injured since October 7th.

The statement from the ministry, affiliated with Hamas, recorded “118 deaths and 163 injuries in the past 24 hours.”

The ministry added that on “the 138th day of the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, a number of victims remain under the rubble and on the streets, with the occupation preventing ambulance and civil defense crews from reaching them.”

The conflict in Gaza has escalated significantly since October 7th, resulting in a substantial number of casualties and injuries.

The ongoing hostilities have led to widespread destruction in the Gaza Strip, impacting infrastructure, residential areas, and essential services.

International efforts to broker a ceasefire have faced challenges amid the continuing violence.

The situation has drawn global attention to the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, with calls for urgent assistance and a resolution to the conflict.
