Egypt Takes Over Presidency of Arab Network for National Human Rights Institutions

Egypt on Saturday was handed over the regular presidency of the Arab Network for National Human Rights Institutions during the convocation of the Network’s Conference and its 20th General Assembly in Cairo.

The Conference and the Network’s 20th General Assembly kicked off in Cairo today in cooperation with the National Council for Human Rights.

Minister of Supply and Internal Trade Ali Moselhi participated in the conference.

The two-day conference is an important opportunity for probing the best practices, lessons and the most important challenges facing the National Human Rights Institutions to determine priorities and needs.

The event is also aiming to boost the role of the networks and international and regional organizations in promoting National Human Rights Institutions.
