Egypt’s Prime Minister, Mostafa Madbouly, is co-chairing the 31st session of the Higher Jordanian-Egyptian Committee in Amman, alongside his Jordanian counterpart, Bisher El-Khasawneh, on Monday.
During the committee meeting, several documents and memorandums of understanding will be signed in areas such as health, vocational training, planning, media, insurance, and social affairs, according to a statement by the Egyptian Cabinet.
Madbouly is leading a high-level delegation, including ministers of electricity, renewable energy, petroleum, and mineral resources, to participate in the session of the committee, which has been working to enhance Jordanian-Egyptian cooperation since 1985.
Preparatory meetings have already agreed on various cooperation documents expected to be signed by the two countries, with a focus on labor, health, environment, culture, and financial control, as stated by the Egyptian Ministry of International Cooperation on Sunday.
The meetings also highlighted the importance of enhancing cooperation in the natural gas industry and exchanging expertise in green hydrogen technology, added the ministry of international cooperation.
