Egypt Invites Turkey to Participate in Major Military Event

Egyptian Minister of State for Military Production Mohamed Salah El-Din Mostafa has invited Turkey to participate in Egypt’s major military event.

Following a meeting with Turkish chargé d’affaires, Salih Mutlu Şen, the minister stated that the discussion focused on exploring avenues for cooperation between Egyptian military production companies and their Turkish counterparts in various manufacturing sectors.

Mohamed Salah emphasized that the Ministry of Military Production is committed to industrial development, introducing modern technologies to its factories, expanding its range of military and civilian products, and enhancing its quality and competitiveness in global markets.

The minister extended an invitation to Turkish defense industry companies to participate in the EDEX-2023 defense exhibition scheduled to be held in Cairo in December 2023.

Mohamed Salah stated, “Now it has become necessary for us to support industrial relations, which will strengthen the economic ties between both sides.”

He confirmed that the Ministry of Military Production is ready to establish new production lines in collaboration with the Turkish side, opening up broader prospects for entering Arab and African markets.

Salih Mutlu Şen highlighted the constructive cooperation between Egypt and Turkey in various fields, built on mutual trust and respect.

He praised the manufacturing, technological, technical, research, human, and infrastructure capabilities possessed by Egyptian military production companies and units. He also commended the Ministry’s role in supporting and encouraging investment in Egypt.

He expressed his anticipation for the creation of new opportunities for cooperation and the opening of new horizons for investment that will benefit both sides.
