Bahrain’s Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, discussed the latest regional and international developments with U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken, focusing on the ongoing events in the Middle East, including the situation in Gaza.

In a telephone conversation, reported by the Bahrain News Agency, the Crown Prince reaffirmed Bahrain’s steadfast and supportive stance on the Palestinian issue.

He advocated for all efforts aimed at achieving a fair and lasting peaceful solution, supporting the fraternal Palestinian people’s legitimate rights to establish an independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital.

During the call, he emphasized the importance of protecting civilians, de-escalating tensions, and avoiding violence that threatens regional security and stability.

Furthermore, the Crown Prince highlighted the deep strategic relationship between Bahrain and the United States, underscoring the importance of continuing to work and coordinate jointly towards broader goals and mutual interests.
