The Global Movement for the Defense of Children announced on Saturday that Israeli occupation authorities have killed 37 Palestinian children since the start of this year.

A’id Abu Qatish, the Accountability Program Director for the Global Movement for the Defense of Children, revealed in an interview with the official ‘Voice of Palestine’ radio that the occupation authorities have killed 31 children in the West Bank and 6 in the Gaza Strip since the start of this year.

Abu Qatish further added that the occupation authorities continue to detain 160 children, including 21 under administrative detention.

He underscored the unprecedented escalation in killings and arrests against Palestinian children, adding that the international community does not provide protection for Palestinian children, nor does it hold the occupation accountable for its crimes.
