The Israeli military announced that Hezbollah launched 25 rockets from areas close to UNIFIL (United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon) forces towards Israeli soldiers and towns, as reported by Cairo News Channel. This escalation has intensified concerns in the region.

Israeli media outlets highlighted that approximately 100 Israeli soldiers were injured in clashes in Lebanon and a significant explosion in Binyamina, south of Haifa.

Following these incidents, an emergency situation was declared due to the high number of casualties caused by a drone crashing in the town of Binyamina.

The Israeli Emergency Services confirmed they are dealing with 22 injuries, including 3 critical, 5 severe, and 14 moderate cases.

Meanwhile, the Israeli military radio reported that the Air Force is investigating the failure to activate warning sirens and the non-interception of the drone, which added a critical dimension to the ongoing conflict, as stated in a breaking news report by Cairo News Channel.

Hezbollah has accused the Israeli military of deploying internationally banned cluster bombs in its ongoing strikes on southern Lebanon, where fighting has escalated in recent days.

The Lebanese militant group claims Israel targeted areas between the towns of Hanin and Tayr with these prohibited weapons, intensifying concerns over the humanitarian impact.

According to a statement released by Hezbollah through the official Lebanese news agency on Sunday, the group stated that Israeli forces fired missiles containing cluster bombs, which are illegal under international law.

This development comes amid growing violence along the Israel-Lebanon border. Earlier on Sunday, the Israeli military called for the evacuation of 21 villages in southern Lebanon, expanding its ground operations in the region.

Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee urged residents to immediately leave their homes and move north of the Awali River to ensure their safety.
