The United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights has reported that more than 100 medical workers and paramedics have been killed in Lebanon since October of last year.

This alarming statistic underscores the increasingly dangerous conditions faced by healthcare professionals operating in the region, particularly amidst ongoing conflicts.

In a related development, the Russian Foreign Ministry has called on the Israeli military to refrain from any hostile actions against United Nations peacekeeping forces in Lebanon.

This statement reflects rising international concern over the safety of UN personnel deployed in the area, especially in light of recent escalations in violence.

Spanish Prime Minister also condemned attacks against UN peacekeeping forces in Lebanon, emphasizing the importance of protecting those who work to maintain peace and security in conflict zones.

The recent remarks from global leaders signal a growing urgency to address the deteriorating security situation in Lebanon and the impact it has on humanitarian efforts.
