The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that its air defense systems shot down a Ukrainian drone over Belgorod region.
Earlier, the ministry reported foiling a Ukrainian attempt to launch drone attacks on Russian territories. The defense systems destroyed 10 drones: 7 over Belgorod, 1 over Voronezh, and 2 over Kursk regions.
In a related development, a Russian official in Donetsk stated that 6 people were injured when a Ukrainian drone targeted a bus.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky visited the border region of Sumy, meeting soldiers engaged in cross-border operations in Russia’s Kursk region.
