Jordan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, through its spokesperson, Ambassador Dr. Sufian Qudah, announced that since the onset of the current events in Lebanon, evacuation plans for Jordanian citizens have been put in place.

These plans involve the Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army and the National Center for Security and Crisis Management.

Qudah emphasized that multiple options are available for implementing the evacuation plan for Jordanians in Lebanon.

He stressed that if the situation escalates into full-scale war, it is crucial for citizens not to wait until that moment, as the risks will significantly increase, making evacuation routes difficult and exit options from Lebanon extremely limited.

The ministry continues to monitor the situation closely through its hotlines, ensuring the well-being of Jordanians currently in Lebanon.

The Ministry has renewed its call for all Jordanians in Lebanon to leave the country immediately to ensure their safety, assuring that all Jordanians are currently safe.

Qudah highlighted that 1,199 Jordanian citizens and 2,541 non-Jordanian companions have registered on the ministry’s platform since the beginning of the crisis. However, he mentioned that the actual number of Jordanians in Lebanon is estimated at 4,000 due to challenges with registration in the country.

The ministry urged all Jordanians residing in or visiting Lebanon to register immediately on the Jordanian Embassy’s website in Beirut via the following link: arembassyBeirutform. They should also contact the ministry for assistance at any time via the following hotlines:
