Media outlets close to Hezbollah announced the martyrdom of journalist Hadi Al-Sayyid in an Israeli airstrike that targeted his home in southern Lebanon.

Lebanese media reported that Al-Sayyid was killed in the Israeli bombing of the Srifa region in southern Lebanon.

Hezbollah denied reports by Israeli media that claimed the assassination of party leader Ali Karaki in an airstrike on Beirut. In a statement, Hezbollah confirmed that Karaki is “in good health” and “has moved to a safe location.”

The Israeli army has confirmed carrying out heavy airstrikes on various areas in Beirut. Lebanese media reported a massive explosion in the southern suburb of Beirut following the bombing of the Hayy Madi district.

Media reports suggest the airstrikes were targeting Hezbollah leader Ali Karaki.
