Tunisia has strongly condemned the recent Israeli aggression against Syria, which resulted in numerous casualties.

In a statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Friday evening, Tunisia expressed its solidarity with Syria, emphasizing its unwavering support for the country during this time of crisis.

Tunisia warned of the severe consequences of Israel’s continued violent actions in the region. The statement highlighted concerns over the increasing frequency of what it described as “inhumane crimes” by Israel against neighboring countries and their people.

Furthermore, Tunisia criticized Israel’s persistent violations of international treaties and humanitarian laws.

The Tunisian government called on the international community to take responsibility and hold Israel accountable for its ongoing actions.

The statement urged global powers to intervene and put an end to what Tunisia described as unprecedented and dangerous crimes in the region.

The Israeli airstrikes in Syria are part of a broader regional conflict involving multiple parties, with Israel often targeting what it claims are military sites associated with Iran-backed militias operating in Syria.

These strikes have escalated over the years as tensions in the Middle East continue to rise. Israel has consistently justified its actions as a measure of self-defense, aiming to prevent the transfer of advanced weaponry to Hezbollah, a militant group based in Lebanon and supported by Iran.
