Egypt has reiterated its firm rejection of the displacement of Palestinians, whether internally or outside their territories, particularly to Egyptian lands in Sinai, emphasizing its commitment to protecting and preserving its borders in accordance with international law. According to “Extra News,” a high-level source stated, “Egypt has renewed its firm rejection of all Israeli attempts to displace the residents of the Gaza Strip and push them towards Egyptian territories to empty the Palestinian cause of its substance.”
The source emphasized that Egypt has maintained maximum restraint to spare the region from an open conflict since the beginning of the war in Gaza, aiming for de-escalation and to prevent the region from entering a vicious cycle of conflict. The source noted that Egypt’s stance on the Palestinian issue is steadfast and clear and cannot be compromised.
President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi recently affirmed during the June 30th celebrations Egypt’s rejection of what he termed “malicious attempts” to displace Palestinians from the Gaza Strip to Egyptian territories, clarifying his country’s position on the Palestinian issue and its commitment to aid Palestinians with all possible strength and resolve.

Contrary to the narrative of the Hebrew media, Palestine TV reported that the Israeli military launched heavy artillery shelling west of Rafah in southern Gaza Strip.
