The Saudi Minister of Investment, Khalid Al-Falih, has affirmed that it is time for China to become a key strategic partner for development in the region, highlighting the Kingdom’s commitment to bridging the gap between Beijing and the Arab World.

“We are committed to working as a bridge linking the Arab world with China,” Al-Falih said. He emphasized that the growth in trade exchange with China presents promising investment opportunities.

Al-Falih made these remarks at the Arab-Chinese Business Conference that was held in Riyadh on Sunday.

The minister further confirmed that Saudi Vision 2030 embodies a model for the investment strategy in the region.

“We will work with China to seize available investment opportunities,” he added, indicating that the business conference reflects a keen interest in strengthening relationships with China.

The 10th session of the Arab-Chinese Business Conference and the 8th Investment Seminar kicked off today, backed by the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

The event, attended by over 3500 participants and more than 160 speakers, aims to broaden the base of economic, commercial, and investment relationships between the Arab world and China.
