UK Foreign Secretary, James Cleverly, has emphasized the need for a comprehensive overhaul of the global financial system. Highlighting the importance of unlocking more funds for sustainable development, Cleverly’s statement underscores the growing sentiment among international leaders about revisiting current financial structures.

According to a report by the “Al Arabiya” television channel on Tuesday evening, Cleverly welcomed the ongoing peace talks in Riyadh aimed at resolving the Yemeni conflict. He also noted Britain’s longstanding partnership with Saudi Arabia, emphasizing collaborations across various domains.

In another significant mention, Cleverly touched upon the geopolitical tensions involving Russia and Ukraine. He stated that Russia’s withdrawal from Ukraine serves everyone’s interest, adding that Moscow is gradually losing friends on the global stage. The Foreign Secretary pointed out that President Putin’s actions have made risks in Europe more palpable. In this context, he firmly believes that Ukraine deserves support as it stands in defense of international treaties.

Such statements from leading British officials reinforce the UK’s position on key global issues and its advocacy for financial and geopolitical stability.
