The military wing of Hamas, the Al-Qassam Brigades, announced today the death of two Israeli hostages held by the group, stating that eight others were seriously injured due to the continuous Israeli bombardment of the Gaza Strip.

In a statement reported by the Palestinian Press Agency “Safa” on the platform “X,” the Al-Qassam Brigades confirmed that the ongoing bombardment of the enclave over the last 96 hours resulted in the death of two captives and caused serious injuries to eight others.

The statement highlighted the increasingly grave conditions of the injured due to the inability to provide them with proper medical treatment.

Hamas held the Israeli army fully responsible for the lives of these injured individuals amidst the continuing bombardment and aggression.

Israel has been conducting a widespread military campaign against the Gaza Strip since October 7th, following an unprecedented attack by Hamas on Israeli towns bordering the area.
