As violent clashes erupted between Israeli forces and Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, a wave of ballistic missiles was launched toward Tel Aviv on Tuesday, despite Hezbollah and UNIFIL denying reports of Israeli special forces crossing the Lebanese border.
According to Al Arabiya/Al Hadath, 10 surface-to-surface ballistic missiles were fired from Lebanon, with five hitting Tel Aviv, causing minor to moderate injuries and material damage. Israeli forces successfully intercepted five of the missiles.
In response, Israel shut down its main highway, and air raid sirens blared across central Israel. Israeli emergency services confirmed that three people were injured from the missile strikes in central Israel.
