The stream of updates on WhatsApp never seems to cease, and it appears that every time we take a closer look at the instant messaging application, we discover something new.

In this context, the website WABetaInfo, which closely monitors the latest developments in WhatsApp, revealed that the application is currently testing a new filter feature designed to help users search through their conversations more quickly.

The website shared a screenshot showing the presence of three filters aimed at assisting users in sorting their messages. These filters enable users to find personal conversations or jump to work-related chats, instead of wasting time searching through a long list of unrelated messages.

The new filters are displayed as follows:
• All Messages
• Unread Messages
• Personal Messages
• Business Messages
Currently, there is only one list that includes both read and unread messages, and the application recently added a filter that displays unread messages.

However, given the widespread use of WhatsApp for both personal and work communication by users, this feature may not be relevant for everyone. It is essential for WhatsApp to continually introduce updates and features that cater to the diverse needs of its user base.
