US President Joe Biden welcomed the deal reached between the Israeli government and Hamas on Wednesday, which ensures the release of some hostages held by Palestinian factions.

Biden stated that the agreement should also bring more Americans home, as reported by Reuters.

“Today’s deal should bring home additional American hostages, and I will not stop until they are all released,” he said in a statement.

The Israeli government and the Hamas movement have agreed to a four-day ceasefire to facilitate the release of 50 hostages in Gaza in exchange for the release of 150 Palestinians imprisoned in Israel.

Additionally, humanitarian aid will be allowed to enter the besieged Gaza Strip.

The US president’s support for the agreement reflects the ongoing efforts to secure the release of Americans and promote peace in the region.

The situation in the Middle East remains complex, and international diplomacy continues to play a crucial role in addressing conflicts and promoting stability.
